RUSH, Adie Stevens, a Representative from Delaware County; born in Bellwood, Blair County, Pa., November 2, 1893; attended, Bellwood High School; attended, Juniata College; attended, Altoona Business College; carpenter and builder; president, Delaware County Central Labor Union; vice-president, Delaware County Housing and Tenants Council; chairman, city of Chester Housing Authority; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1937 (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936) and 1941 terms; resigned from the House, August 15, 1942; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1938); conciliator and mediator, United States Department of Labor; died, January 16, 1964; interred, Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
