ROBBINS, Charles Miller, a Representative from Luzerne County; born in Kingston, Luzerne County, Pa., October 24, 1916; graduated, Kingston High School, 1934; B.A., The Pennsylvania State (University) College, 1938; lieutenant, "U.S.S. Dortch," United States Navy (1942-1946, World War II); agent, Mutual Life Insurance Co. of New York; owner, retail sporting goods store; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1947 and 1949 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1951 term; professor; died, June 12, 2010 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
