RICE, Paul B., a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Cross Keys, Rockingham County, Va., July 17, 1890; attended, Augusta Military Academy (3 years); A.B., Gettysburg College, 1911; employee, Pennsylvania Forestry Department; general agent for Pennsylvania, Iowa Insurance Company (1918-1948); board member, Harrisburg Polyclinic Hospital; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1929 term and reelected to serve 2 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1935 term; trustee, Gettysburg College; died, November 29, 1950 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois; interred, Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
