RHEA, Edwin MacDougal, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, Oil City, Venango County, Pa. on March 6, 1905; attended, Peabody High School; attended, University of Pittsburgh; B.S., jurisprudence, Princeton University, 1927; Rhodes Scholar, B.A., jurisprudence, Oxford University; attorney; law secretary, Chief Justice Frazer, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania (1931-1935); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1940; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1942); died, January 14, 1962 in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Church of the Redeemer Cemetery, Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
