(1909-1913); ward committeeman and chairman, Beaver Borough Democratic Committee; railroad yardmaster (8 years); author, numerous articles published in labor magazines; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1934 and 1936; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1938); died, May 23, 1967 in Harmony, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; interred, Beaver Cemetery and Mausoleum, Beaver, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
