REILLY, John J., a Representative from Philadelphia; born in County Mayo, Ireland, December 15, 1860; attended, Loughanamon School (Ireland); stillman, Atlantic Refining Co. (1895-1927); member, Democratic Committee, 36th Ward; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1929 term; reelected to the House to serve the 1933 term; unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the House for the 1931 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1935 term; died, September 8, 1942 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
