REESE, David P., Jr., a Representative from Dauphin County, born in Plymouth, Luzerne County, Pa., November 17, 1905; attended, Wyoming Seminary; attended, Harrisburg Academy; B.S., University of Virginia; LL.B., Dickinson College School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law); attorney and counselor-at-law; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1939 term; reelected to serve 4 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, chair, Joint State Government Commission Sub-Committee on Unemployment Compensation (1945-1946); appointed, chair, Legislative Committee on Unemployment Compensation (1947-1948); appointed, chair, Joint Legislative Committee on Uniform Practice and Procedure (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1949 term; lobbyist, Anthracite Institute; director, Pennsylvania National Horse Show Association; died, July 19, 1962 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
