RAUB, Jacob Arner, a Representative from Northampton County; born in Easton, Northampton County, Pa., October 3, 1898; graduated, Easton High School, 1916; LL.B., Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law), 1919; served, United States Army (World War I); attorney (1920-1967); elected, solicitor to the recorder of deeds, Northampton County; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1931 and 1933 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1935 term; solicitor, Palmer and Lehigh Townships school boards; Assistant District Attorney, Northampton County; elected, District Attorney, Northampton County (1949-1952); unsuccessful campaign, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Northampton County (1953); solicitor, Easton Area and Riegelsville school boards; died, February 10, 1967 in Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Northampton Memorial Shrine, Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
