PITZER, Henry Earl, a Representative from Adams County; born in Menallen Township, Adams County, Pa., November 17, 1903; attended, Arendtsville Vocational School; employed, Federal Office of Defense Transportation (World War II); fruit farmer; member, Aspers Volunteer Fire Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1950; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1952); Chief of Safety, Bureau of Highway Safety, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue; chair, Adams County Republican Committee; elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (1960); owner, trucking firm, H. Earl Pitzer Company; director of enforcement, Traffic Safety Bureau, Harrisburg; appointed, personnel department, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission; died, March 9, 1967 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bendersville Cemetery, Bendersville, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
