PEARSON, Howard Robert, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa. on October 21, 1898; attended, Pittsburgh Academy; attended, Carnegie Institute of Technology; first class yeoman, ordnance department, United States Navy (World War I); sales manager, Ready Mixed Concrete Company; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1934 and 1936; appointed, Special Committee to Select Measures on the Subject of Abating Penalties and Interest on Delinquent Taxes (1935-1936); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1938); died, May 4, 1972 in Pompano Beach, Broward County, Florida; interred, Greenwood Cemetery, Sharpsburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
