MYHAN, Lee P., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, March 16, 1901 in Lafayette, Chambers County, Al.; attended, Chambers County Training School; attended, Tuskegee Institute, 1921-1927; B.S., Georgia State College, 1930; captain, Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, 1923-1927; agricultural teacher; editor, National Negro Farmer’s Digest; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1945 term; unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the House for the 1947 term; died in August of 1977 in Pennsylvania.
