MURRIN, John Brady, a Representative from Butler County; born, July 25, 1888; served, Battery A, 232 Artillery and Company C, 35th United States Engineers, United States Army (1917-1919, World War I); oil and gas producer; locomotive engineer, B & E Railroad; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1932); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1934 and 1936; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1938); died, June 12, 1958 in Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Alphonsus Cemetery, Murrinsville, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
