MOORE, Harvey Andrew, Sr., a Representative from Butler County; born in Center Township, Butler County, Pa., April 24, 1896; graduated, Slippery Rock State Normal School (now Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania); private, United States Army (World War I); teacher (11 years); school director (5 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1946; reelected to the House in 1948 and 1950; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1952); died, July 25, 1980 in Butler County, Pennsylvania; interred, Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
