MOORE, Clarence Edward, a Representative from Clinton County; born, March 21, 1889 in Lamar, Clinton County, Pa.; attended, business school; owner, retail meat business (17 years); automobile dealer (18 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1943 term and reelected to serve 5 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Joint State Government Commission Sub-Committee on Child Welfare Laws, Juvenile Delinquency and Institutions (1945-1946); appointed, Flood Control Commission (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1954); died, July 14, 1963 in Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mackeyville, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
