McINTOSH, Joseph J., a Representative from Cumberland County; born, December 24, 1908; Ph.B., Dickinson College; LL.B., Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law); served, United States Army (1942-1943, World War II); attorney; assistant solicitor; officer, Pennsylvania State Police (1931-1935); investigator, Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office (1935-1939); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1941 term; resigned from the House, June 29, 1942; died, March 15, 1972 in Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
