KREBS, Edward H., a Representative from Lebanon County; born, January 13, 1944 in Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pa.; graduated, Annville Cleona High School, 1961; B.S., The Pennsylvania State University, 1965; M.S., University of Massachusetts, 1967; Ph.D., Michigan State University, 1970; served, United States Marine Corps Reserves (1963); farmer; economics professor, Lebanon Valley College; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1991, 1993 and 1995 terms; changed party affiliation in December, 1994; reelected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican for the 1997, 1999 and 2001 terms; appointed, Pennsylvania Emergency Management Authority (1993-1994); appointed, co-chair, Select Committee on Eminent Domain (1997-1998); appointed, Select Committee on Rules Review (1999); appointed, co-chair, Commission on Postsecondary Education for the 21st Century (1999-2000); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2002); member, Keystone Transportation Funding Coalition; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (Special Election, 2021).
