MALLOY, James John, a Representative from Luzerne County; born in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pa., June 2, 1900; attended, University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School; salesman; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1939 and 1941 terms; appointed, Joint State Government Commission (1941-1942); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1943 term; died, March 1, 1961 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
