MALLEN, George J., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, November 16, 1903; attended, Waldron Academy; B.S, Villanova College; LL.B., Temple University Law School; lawyer, Donatue, Triom, Merritt, and Gest; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1935 term and reelected to serve the following term; appointed, Joint Legislative Committee to Investigate Governmental Costs of Philadelphia (1937-1938); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1939 term; Special Deputy Attorney General, Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General (1940-1948); died, June 23, 1974 in Pennsylvania; interred, Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
