MALINA, John E., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, July 2, 1903 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Oh.; attended, Philadelphia public schools; served, United States Army (1942-1943, World War II); engaged in hardwood flooring and real estate businesses; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1933 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House as an American Liberties Party candidate in the 1934 General election; died, August 21, 1981 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
