MALE, Henry A., a Representative from Northampton County; born in Pen Argyl, Northampton County, Pa., April 26, 1872; engaged in real estate business (30 years); vice president, Edelman’s Slate Quarry; operator, ice business; elected, council, borough secretary and chief burgess, Pen Argyl; proprietor, Male’s Furniture Store; antique dealer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1931 term; reelected to serve 2 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1937 term; died April 19, 1959 in Pen Argyl, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
