LOVETT, Walter S., a Representative from Montour County; born in Danville, Montour County, Pa., June 20, 1880; assistant superintendent, Reading Iron Company, Danville; vice president and general manager, American-Swedo Iron Company, Danville; elected, council, Danville Borough (1921-1933); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1932 and served 1 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1934); elected, treasurer, Montour County (1947-1952); died, September 17, 1952 in Danville, Montour County, Pennsylvania.
