LANE, Julian Wellington “Bill,” a Representative from Washington County; born, August 14, 1873 in Wales; educated in Ohio public schools; locomotive engineer, Monongahela Railway and the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1932; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1934 General election; elected, justice of the peace; died, January 3, 1955 in West Brownsville, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Taylor Cemetery, Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
