KRISE, Clarence George, “C.G.,” a Representative from Clearfield County; born in Fallen Timber, Cambria County, Pa., December 8, 1892; attended, Ebensburg Preparatory School; Bachelor of Accounts, University of Valparaiso; president, DuBois Business College; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1939 term and reelected to serve 5 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Commission to Make Certain Studies of Bituminous Coal Mines (1939-1940); appointed, Joint State Government Sub-Committee on Finance Companies (1945-1946); appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Administrative Code (1947-1948); died while in office, May 27, 1949 in Mont Alto, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Beechwoods Cemetery, Fallen Timber, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
