KING, John Hollis, a Representative from Erie County; born in Corry, Erie County, Pa., July 30, 1880; second lieutenant, Signal Corps, Air Corps, United States Army (World War I); personnel director, General State Authority, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; examiner, Pennsylvania Office of the Insurance Commissioner; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1929, 1931 and 1933 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1934); accountant, Bureau of Audits, Pennsylvania Auditor General's office (1935-1936); construction inspector, Pennsylvania Department of Highways; died, March 3, 1979; interred, Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
