KEENAN, Lawrence P., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa. on September 7, 1892; attended, St. Rosalia High School; captain, Allegheny County Police; superintendent, Allegheny County Workhouse; elected, Democratic State Committee (1924-1930); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat to the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936); reelected to the House to the 1939 and 1941 terms; appointed, Joint Committee to Investigate the Advisability of Flood Walls to Protect Pittsburgh (1937-1938); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1942); warden, Allegheny County Workhouse; died, February 21, 1974 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
