KANE, John J., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa. on May 17, 1890; attended, Duquesne University; Pennsylvania representative, The International Printing Pressmen’s Union of North America; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1932; resigned from the House, December 31, 1933; elected, council, Pittsburgh (1934-1936); elected, commissioner, Allegheny County (1937-1960); died, March 5, 1961 in New Brighton, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
