JONES, Benjamin, a Representative from Luzerne County; born in Plymouth, Luzerne County, Pa., January 28, 1883; passenger conductor, Lehigh Valley Railroad (1906-1927); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1927 term and served 4 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1937 term; died, March 1, 1959 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
