PLATTS, Todd Russell, a Representative from York County; born in York, York County, Pa., March 5, 1962; graduated, York Suburban High School, 1980; B.S. summa cum laude, public administration, Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, 1984; J.D. cum laude, Pepperdine University School of Law, 1991; attorney and associate, Barley Snyder Senft & Cohen, LLC.; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1993, 1995, 1997, and 1999 terms; appointed, Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee (1995-2000); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2000); elected, United States Congress (2001-2013); elected, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, York County (2014-present).
