JAFFE, Nathaniel E., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, March 14, 1890 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; attended, Central High School; attended, Erasmus Hall, Brooklyn, NY; employed, United States Postal Service (1908-1917); chief clerk of legal division, Emergency Fleet Corporation (1917-1920); president, Ajax Bobbin and Spool Company (1920-1962); member, 42nd Ward Republican Executive Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1930 and served 2 consecutive terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1934); died, April 25, 1971 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Roosevelt Memorial Park, Trevose, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
