IMBRIE, Dr. Wilbert DeWitt, a Representative from Butler County; born, January 5, 1876 in Brownsville, Licking County, Oh.; attended, West Sunbury Academy; D.D.S., Baltimore College of Dental Surgery; attended, Western University of Pennsylvania (now University of Pittsburgh); attended, Marchants Post-Graduate School; dentist; elected, burgess, Harrisville (17 years); director, First National Bank of Harrisville; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican to the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936); served 3 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1944); district dental officer, Pennsylvania Department of Health; died, August 23, 1962 in Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania; interred, Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
