HUNTLEY, George William, Jr., a Representative from Cameron County; born in Gibson Township, Cameron County, Pa., March 16, 1867; attended, Farmer’s College (The Pennsylvania State University); attended, Dickinson Seminary (now Lycoming College); attended, Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law); engaged in the lumber business; lawyer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936); reelected to the House for 4 more consecutive terms; appointed, State World’s Fair Commission (1939-1940); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1946); died, February 28, 1949 in Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interred, Newton Cemetery, Emporium, Cameron County, Pennsylvania.
