HUNTER, William M., a Representative from Delaware County; born in the city of Chester, Delaware County, Pa., May 26, 1879; attended, public schools of Chester; attended, Chester Commercial College; involved in real estate and insurance brokerage business; assistant treasurer, Chester Shipping Co.; Delaware County Assessor for the city of Chester (18 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives by Special Election on November 3, 1942; Sworn-In on November 24, 1942 to serve the remaining 1941 term; reelected to serve the 1943 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1945 term; died, March 1, 1958; interred, Chester Rural Cemetery, city of Chester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
