HIMES, Harry Elton, a Representative from Armstrong County; born, New Bethlehem, Clarion County, Pa., April 3, 1872; educated, New Bethlehem public schools; employed, The New Bethlehem Vindicator; editor, Kittanning Tribute (1889-1941); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1922; served 6 consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1934); died, April 11, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.
