HESS, Warren K., a Representative from Berks County; born in Reading, Berks County, Pa., June 2, 1909; graduated, Reading High School; B.S., Ursinus College; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania Law School; attorney; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1937 and 1939 terms; appointed, Committee to Study Regulations of Milk Control (1939-1940); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1941 term; Assistant District Attorney, Berks County (1939-1945); elected, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Berks County (1946-1959; president judge, 1960-1974); died, December 5, 1990.
