HEFFNER, Paul V., a Representative from Huntingdon County; born, Juniata Township, Huntingdon County, Pa., on September 23, 1879; attended, Juniata College; company commander, Pennsylvania National Guard (1898-1909); teacher (11 years); elected, city council, Huntingdon (10 years; president, 2 years); co-founder and president, Huntingdon Wholesale Grocery Company; secretary, Huntingdon County Republican Committee (2 years); engaged, lumber business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1926; reelected and served 3 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1934); clerk, Pennsylvania State Senate (1935-1938); died, June 22, 1949 in Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
