HEATHERINGTON, Thomas J., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pa. on March 10, 1903; attended, St. Peter’s School; attended, St. Pius School, McKeesport; foreman and locomotive engineer; Democratic Chairman, Versailles Township (6 years); elected, burgess, Eden Park; elected, justice of the peace; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1940; reelected to the House in 1942, 1944, and 1948; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1946, 1950); elected, council, McKeesport (2 terms); died, August 4, 1960 in McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, New Saint Josephs Cemetery, North Versailles, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
