Joy Township, Adams County, Pa., February 12, 1873; attended, Edgehill Academy; attended, Littlestown and Gettysburg Academy; graduated, Maryland College of Pharmacy, 1898; M.D., University of Maryland Medical College, 1902; medical practitioner; coroner, Adams County (4 years); physician, Adams County Home (12 years); physician, Western Maryland Railroad (12 years); director, Agnes K. and G.W.
