HARRIS, Lewis, a Representative from Fulton County; born, August 9, 1881 in Big Cove, Fulton County, Pa.; attended, Teachers Normal School; school teacher; clerk to the commissioners, Fulton County; deputy prothonotary, Fulton County; school director; co-owner, The Racket Store (1927-1958); board director, First National Bank of McConnellsburg (1938-1968); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1940, 1942 and 1948; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1944, 1950); died, September 13, 1968 in McConnellsburg, Fulton County, Pennsylvania.
