HABERLEN, Roy Calvin, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pa. on April 7, 1903; attended, Hursts High School; attended, Gettysburg College; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1934; reelected in 1936, 1940, 1942, and 1944; appointed, Local Government Commission (1943-1946); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1938); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1946); professional singer; assistant chief auditor, Old Republic Insurance Company, Greensburg; died, January 22, 1986 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Trauger, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
