GRYSKEWICZ, Walter Grey, a Representative from Luzerne County; born in Ashley, Luzerne County, Pa., December 17, 1911; graduated, Ashley High School; private, United States Army (World War II); clerk; elected, council, Ashley Borough (1935-1937); elected, mayor, Ashley (1937-1944); member, Executive Committee, Ashley Democratic Club; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1941 term and served 1 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1943 term; died as a result from battle while serving in the United States Army, December 5, 1944 in Germany, Europe; interred, Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery and Memorial, Henri-Chapelle, Liege, Belgium.
