GREER, Thomas H., Jr.,  a Representative from Butler County; born in Knoxville, Allegheny County, Pa., July 17, 1898; attended, Butler High School; B.A., Amherst College; attended, University of Pittsburgh School of Law (1921-1923); attorney-at-law; fireman second class, United States Navy (World War I); elected, city council, Butler; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1944; served 3 more consecutive terms; elected, Majority Caucus Secretary (1947-1950); appointed, Joint State Government Commission (1947-1948, 1951-1952: Subcommittee on Administrative Code, 1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1952); died, April 7, 1955 in Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania; interred, North Side Cemetery, Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
