GREEN, Alexander Crowe, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, December 18, 1891 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; auditor, Comptroller's office, Philadelphia; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1933 and 1935 terms; resigned from the House, January 14, 1936; elected, city council, Philadelphia (1936-1940, 1948-1952); city real estate assessor, Philadelphia; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1952); died, May 19, 1960 in Philadlephia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
