GILLAN, C. Frank, a Representative from Franklin County; born, St. Thomas, Franklin County, Pa., on December 15, 1883; attended, Mercersburg Academy; Ph.B., Franklin and Marshall College; teacher, public and private schools, Pennsylvania, New York, New York City, and Newport, RI; real estate valuator, Cumberland Valley Railroad (1916-1921); engaged, fruit-growing business; director, Chambersburg Hospital; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1938, 1940 and 1942; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1944 General election; died, February 24, 1947 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
