GEER, Thomas P., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, October 23, 1918 in Bellevue, Allegheny County, Pa.; graduated, Bellevue High School; B.A., Pennsylvania State (University) College; LL.B., University of Pittsburgh Law School; special investigator, Security Intelligence Division, United States Army (1942-1946, World War II); attorney; elected, solicitor, Ohio Township (10 years); member, Republican State Committee; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1950 and 1952; withdrew candidacy from 1954 Republican Primary election; elected, solicitor, McCandless (5 years); elected, solicitor, Robinson Township; member, Ryan, Newman, Geer and Goldring law firm; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1962); appointed, judge, Workman’s Compensation Board (1963-1973); died, October 28, 2005 in Bellevue, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
