GARBER, Andrew, a Representative from Luzerne County; born in Glen Lyon, Luzerne County, Pa., November 20, 1897; attended, Wilkes-Barre Night School; attended, National Farm School, Doylestown; graduated, Wyoming Seminary; realtor; insurance salesman; secretary, Board of Commissioners, Hanover Township (32 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1943 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1945 term; died, April 16, 1977 in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
