FORREST, Edwin Arnold, a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Spring City, Chester County, Pa., March 27, 1896; graduated, Spring City High School, 1914; Ph.B., Lafayette College, 1918; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1923; served, Battery F, 79th Division, American Expeditionary Forces, United States Army (World War I); lawyer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1933 and 1935 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1937 term; elected, District Attorney, Montgomery County (1947-1949); gubernatorial appointee, judge, Montgomery County (1949-1966); died, October 3, 1969 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
