EVANS, Joseph T., a Representative from Lancaster County; born in Limerick, Montgomery County, Pa., July 7, 1867; attended, West Chester Normal School (now West Chester University of Pennsylvania); graduated, Franklin and Marshall College, 1894; elected, burgess, Ephrata (1 term); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives  in 1918 and 1920; reelected to the House in 1928, 1930 and 1932; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1922, 1934); died, April 5, 1935 in Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bergstrasse Cemetery, Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
