ELLIOTT, David Edgar, a Representative from Clarion County; born in Licking Township, Clarion County, Pa., January 5, 1866; attended, Callensburg Academy; teacher (29 years); elected, prothonotary and clerk of the courts, Clarion County (24 years); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1941 and 1943 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1945 term; died, April 26, 1952 in Clarion, Clarion County, Pennsylvania; interred, Callensburg Cemetery, Callensburg, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
