ECKELS, John Perry, a Representative from Crawford County; born in Cambridge Springs, Crawford County, Pa., June 11, 1891; graduated, Cambridge Springs High School; LL.B., DePaul University; attorney; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936); reelected to serve 2 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1942 General election; died, June 29, 1987 in Marion County, Florida.
