DYE, Jeanette M., a Representative from Mercer County; born, December 3, 1901 in Wyoming; graduated, nursing, St. Johns Hospital of Wyoming; attended, University of Michigan; assistant director of nurses, Mercer Cottage Hospital; assistant secretary, Mercer County Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1945, 1947 and 1949 terms; appointed, chair, Joint Legislative Committee on Juvenile Delinquency and Child Welfare (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1951 term; died, August 17, 1952 in Sandy Lake, Mercer County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
